Biden, Facts, Carney and Walking Back!!!

Just something to think about . . . . . In Thursday’s (Oct. 11, 2012) VP debate when talking about taxes VP Joe Biden said “The middle class will pay less and people making $1 million or more will begin to contribute slightly more”. Today Jay Carney in another of his days of “walking back” something said ” Biden was just using the $1 million threshold “as an example””. This after Vice President Biden talked about the importance of “facts” more then 2 dozen times.

Just something to think about . . . . . This was cool. I watched this live (20 second delay) and it was amazing. Red Bull Stratos and Felix Baumgartner. I mean the guy hit 833 MPH in a free fall!!

Customer Service – NOT

Just something to think about . . . . . I cannot remember the last time I called a customer service organization, went online to chat  with a customer service representative, used the companies email support or posted a question on a company owned support forum that was handled in a knowledgeable manner. When speaking with some of the representative either on the phone or in a chat session the lack of professionalism has become almost unbelieveable. Dell, AT&T, Atlanta Journal, and on and on. None of them seems to have a clue about technical issues, consistency of answers or how to “help” people with their problems. Having spent much of my professional life in the areas of customer support and service I find this very disheartening to say the least.

What Will The Schools Think of Next

Just something to think about . . . . . This would be funny if it were not true.  It just seems to me that our kids would get a better education if schools worried more about reading, writing and arithmetic instead of what they throw in the garbage.

Walking Back, Evolving or Whatever You Want To Call It!!

Just something to think about . . . . . CNN’s Soledad O’Brien has been talking about Mitt Romney “walking back” his remarks about the 47%. Odd to me that the current leadership has “walked back” so many different things that they could have made a lap around the world going backward, however, very little has been said by the main stream media about this. Could it be that Mitt Romney has simply “evolved” on this subject, kind of like our current administration has on som many issues?
